New Streamers for 2026

We are excited to announce some updates to our streamer selection! Read about these top 5 new streamers for 2026, available on our website or at a Fulling Mill fly shop near you! Whether you fish for trout, salmon, and/or bass, check out these 5 new streamers and consider fishing them this season. If you’re tying on a streamer because the conditions call for it, or simply prefer fishing a streamer over anything else, we’re certain there’s a pattern in this top 5 for you.

The Kreelex by Chuck Kraft

When we were approached by Chuck Kraft’s son to work with him to produce Chuck’s flies, we were thrilled to accept the opportunity. Chuck Kraft was a skilled fly designer and fly fishing guide, and he had a huge influence on the sport. Lefty Kreh, Bob Clouser, and Flip Pallot described Chuck Kraft as the best Smallmouth guide in the country—and they’d know, because Chuck guided them many times. Truly, he was a pioneer of his craft.

It’s not every day that a true innovator comes into the world of fly fishing and fly tying. Without question, Chuck Kraft was one. We’re grateful for his family for continuing his legacy by giving us permission to produce his flies. We hope they treat you well on the water.

The Kreelex was developed by Chuck Kraft in 1991, and its original name for it was the Rolex. Chuck was advised by some of his clients, who were lawyers, to change the name to avoid any issues with the watch company. Chuck developed this fly to emulate the action and movement of a baitfish. This fly is known to be a “Panther Martin Spinner” for the fly rod angler. For the Kreelex to actually be a “Kreelex” it needs to be tied with very specific materials. This fly has won numerous 1-fly and 2 fly tournaments around the world. The pattern works in both fresh and saltwater and consistently attracts trout and smallmouth bass. Offered in two sizes, 4 & 6, the Kreelex is classic, effective, and widely asked for by Fulling Mill dealers.

Jorgensen’s Claw Dog

The Claw Dawg from Signature Tyer Andrew Jorgensen somewhat resembles the popular ‘Ned Head. This pattern uses Fulling Mill slotted tungsten cones to get this down quick and sets the fly in a defensive crayfish pose, which fish find irresistible. A variety of species will gladly pick this fly off the bottom, or when jigged like a fleeing crayfish. Rabbit Zonker Strip claws, Chewy Worm Chenille body, and Flex Floss antennae and legs make for an excellent crayfish profile with lifelike movement. When a finness presentation is required, Jorgensen’s Claw Dog gets it done.

When fish are feeding on bigger forage like this dragonfly nymph in hand, Jorgensen’s Claw Dog gets it done.

Sculpin Slider

Cheech’s Sculpin Slider is a no-nonsense slider-type streamer. With a flashy underbody and Rabbit Zonker over the back, this fly has a ton of movement. Big fish really key in on these types of flies, and that’s why we’ve added them to the range! This pattern fits the needs when fish are less willing to take flashy flies and prefer a snack-sized, natural baitfish imitation. Our 4mm Tungsten Streamer Eyes ensure that your fly gets into the strike zone effectively, and tied on our #4 Streamer Stripper Hooks means you can put the pressure on when fighting big fish.

Sculpin Sliders are available in three colors.

Rosenau’s Beach Bum

This pattern comes to us from Signature Tyer Pete Rosenau of Spawn Fly Fish. Pete is a long-time tyer and has been innovating flies for salmon, trout, and sea-run cutthroat. A great pattern to jig at depth, dead drift in rivers, or strip anywhere. This mini articulated fly has tons of action, and we have added the Orange colorway to our 2026 streamer collection.

Mini Dolly Llama

The Dolly Llama is known for being one of the must-have swing flies when targeting large anadromous fish such as steelhead and salmon. Popular in fisheries in Alaska and beyond, you can’t go wrong with the Llama. Now, we offer a mini version of the classic fly. Perfect for those interested in trout spey and swinging rivers for rainbow trout and brown trout. They are easy to cast, down to depth, and have an enticing swim that fish just have to grab. Our Mini Dolly Llamas use our #6 Octopus Hooks, Brass X-Eyed Cones, Rabbit Zonker, and a bit of flash to fool and effectively land trout, salmon, and whatever else you like to swing for.

Trout spey Dolly Llamas

Our top 5 new streamer selection covers the streamer bases. From flashy flies like The Kreelex, finess patterns like The Claw Dog, or simply natural baitfish imitations like the Sculpin Slider, these new flies will move some quality fish this season!
