Fulling Mill has once again come up trumps by launching the New Tube Fly Box. Its compact in size 20.6 x 14.7 x 2.7cm and has 4-16 adjustable compartments. The front locking clips are secure and sturdy ensuring the lid won’t pop open unexpectedly. Molded indentations on the underside of the lid secure the compartments in place.
Tube flies have until now been an absolute nightmare to store, they come in a variety of sizes and weights and the Salmon & Sea Trout angler needs to carry them around for every eventuality. Not only that but the flies require the correct size hook whether it be single, double or treble. Keeping them in any order was near on impossible.

This great new tube fly box has four long compartments and is supplied with a dozen “walls” this allows you to alternate the size of each compartment. Any size fly or hooks can be stored securely. Carrying several of these boxes whilst out on the water is no problem, as the slim lightweight design will fit in many sling or backpacks with ease. The box is simple but extremely effective, although named the “Tube” Fly box, I can certainly see its appeal to the dry fly and Stillwater angler when small and large patterns are essential for a successful day on the water. 
It’s a must-have fly box for any angler with its versatility and storage capabilities and my time on the water in search of that Salmon and Sea Trout just got a whole lot easier.
