How to tie the Belly Flop Balanced Damsel
The Belly Flop Balanced damsel is a style of fly pattern that is made to hang horizontally in the water when fished under an indicator. It’s a great way of presenting your fly ‘just like the real thing’ as if it were swimming or darting from predators. It’s a great idea that we have been incorporating into many of our patterns, for the U.K guys, try a Fry Pattern or Corixa tied in this style and fished around weedbeds.
