There can’t be too many places left on their bucket list, if it’s worth fishing, the chances are they’ve been there, done that. If it’s high quality images of the biggest and best you’re after, you need to follow Stephan and his team of highly talented fishing junkies.
Since setting out on our journey everyone at The Fly Fishing Nation has been incredibly supportive, giving us a huge tranche of top spec images for our own marketing material and for this we will always be grateful. Thanks guys.
We owe our introduction to Katka to the legendary Simon Gawesworth of Rio Products (thanks Simon.) From raising Rooster Fish in Mexico to hauling in the Icelandic Salmon, she makes it look easy and always with a smile.
Having tested out plenty of Fulling Mill flies, we hope she’s as big a fan of ours as we are of hers and we look forward to working together in future.
We’ve only recently discovered Emilie, but we’ve no doubt that she’s the real deal and we very much hope to share some of her findings with you on our new blog in the months to come.
A true champion of what Sweden has to offer, we hugely enjoy keeping up to date with her posts and think you will too.
As the name might suggest, Alastair & William are twins, who’s the better fisherman? Hard to say, but not being born to the outdoor life certainly hasn’t held either of them back. Both are highly accomplished fishermen, guides, instructors and together, they make a killer film. Checkout their work to the Hope River last year.
Based on the Dee, but often to be found scouring the back waters of New Zealand, they’re not only great to follow on Instagram, but utterly charming in person. We’re delighted to work with these guys and the fishing community is all the richer for their input too.
Captain Jack is without doubt one of the leading lights in the Game Fishing Film Maker’s hall of fame, that is, if there is such a thing?
We’ve known him for years and always enjoyed his work, all of which is painstakingly shot, edited and crafted together. If watching one of his films doesn’t make you want to get out there and have a go, not much will.
Follow this highly accomplished, utterly charming record holder as she approaches her 150th World record.
A committed angler, Meredith knows her stuff and is only too glad to help others along the way.
Having worked with her on trips to Iceland and Bolivia, we’re just waiting for the next big opportunity.
Be it Hunting or Fishing, we can assure you, if Denis is in the picture, you’re not going to be bored.
Having worked with Denis for the past few years, we’ve benefitted hugely from his support and had a lot of laughs along the way.
Keep an eye on the FM blog for more of his trip reports but be sure to tag along on his Instagram too.
Designer of the Stokoe shrimp, James has been a firm supporter of Fulling Mill since the beginning. A truer champion of the Tyne might be tricky to find and they’re lucky to have him.
Since winning the BBC’s fishing programme ‘Earth’s Wildest Waters – The Big Fish/Big Catch’ James hasn’t drawn breath. A more modest, genuine die-hard fishing fanatic would be hard to find, and we’re delighted to have him on board as a result. If you fancy catching an English Salmon, look him up, but book early! Seriously.
Having met Paula at ICAST earlier this year, I can only confirm the reports are true, she is one of the nicest people in Fly Fishing and we’re delighted at the mere thought of working with her to liven up our blog in the coming months.
No doubt you already follow her, but if not, do.
Be under no illusion, this guy is living the dream and he’s a rising star. A true outdoorsman who clearly takes huge pride in his work, Sigve is on top of his game.
The social media influencer game is clearly, and quite rightly, one of the most competitive, but with clear skills both in the field and on the water, we have no doubt that Sigve will break through the 100,000 benchmark before long.
His images are on point as is his game plan. Check him out.
Orvis ambassador Derek is a media mastermind and his work on Instagram only goes to prove it. Follow this up with his ability behind the video camera as seen at InTents Media and you have a true all-rounder.
We love following Derek and again hope to work with him on some material in the years ahead.
He’s not had the smoothest ride in life, but this hasn’t stopped Josh settling into the sport he truly loves. Based in Summit County, Colorado Josh guides on some of the best water available.
Check out this article on him from Black Strap for the full picture, but be sure to follow him on Instagram first.
Seasoned guide (20 years on the South Platte River, Colorado) and serial author, Landon well and truly knows his craft.
Checkout his website to book a trip, but make sure you follow his progress on Instagram in the meantime.
Long time guide of the Middle Texas Coast, JT is at the top of his game. Utterly charming, with time for everyone, he’s a super nice guy too. As for Instagram feed, it’s highly addictive.
Former News Anchor, Hilary, today guides on the Flathead River and the Middle Fork when she’s not in her store – Lary’s Fly & Supply.
In addition to this, she volunteers for Casting for Recovery as a fly fishing instructor, serves as a member of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, is a climate activist with Protect Our Winter and writes for a number of publications. So, she’s fairly busy then.
Josh Hutchins – aussieflyfisher – 43k
You might not associate Australia with trout fishing but think again. Aussie Fly Fisher is the go-to operation in this part of the world and with great contacts in New Zealand too, Josh is well worth tapping up.
Plus his films are slick. Check’em out.
