Four of the new hook models are barbless, and five of them are barbed. FM 1190 All Purpose Grub (Black Nickel)
The FM 1190 All Purpose Grub is a short shank, wide gape, multi-use grub hook that is perfect for both nymphs and dry flies. In the smallest sizes this design is perfect for flies like midges and CDC dry flies. In the larger sizes, it is ideal for tying nymphs or terrestrial dry flies like beetles. It features a black nickel finish to make it extra stealthy.

FM 1200 All Purpose Nymph Hook (Black Nickel)
A classic, 1X long, 2X heavy nymph hook. This hook design is ideal for both river and stillwater fly patterns. In the smaller sizes, this is perfect for classic patterns like the pheasant tail nymph and hare’s ear; in larger sizes, it will work perfectly for damsel and mayfly nymphs. It features a black nickel finish so that it is extra stealthy.

FM 5160 Complete Dry (Barbless, Black Nickel)
This is a truly universal dry fly hook that’s perfect for all styles of dry flies. With a standard length shank, this hook is ideal for tying anything from parachutes dries like the adams, to CDC split-wing dries, deer hair caddis, and everything in between. The hook features a straight, slightly angled upwards point, which is great for both hooking and holding fish.

FM 5165 Complete Dry Long Shank (Barbless, Black Nickel)
This is the long shank version of our new Complete Dry. It’s a straight point 2X long dry fly hook that’s suited for tying large dry flies. This is the ideal hook for all manner of large mayflies—think green drakes, brown drakes, hex, etc.— and terrestrials. The hook features a straight, slightly angled upwards point, which is great for both hooking and holding fish.

FM 5170 Ideal Trout (Barbless, Bronze)
The FM 5170 is a mid-weight wire version of our highly popular Comp Heavyweight barbless hook. This version has a bronze finish. A multi-use design, this hook is intended to be used for both stillwater and river flies. On stillwaters, think lightweight nymphs and dry flies. On rivers, think nymphs and wet fly patterns. The mid-weight wire gives this hook the perfect blend of strength and weight. It’s strong enough for landing big, powerful trout, whilst still being light enough to tie dry flies that will float well.

FM 6045 Streamer Stripper V2 (Non-Reflective Black)
The FM 6040 is an exciting new update to our already highly popular Streamer Stripper hook. The design and shape hasn’t changed, however, we increased the wire gauge and updated the finishing process to make it both stronger and sharper. This improved version has an increased size range as well. We now offer as large as a 4/0 for big predator patterns, and down to a size 10 for micro streamers or even terrestrial dry flies. This new version features our non-reflective black finish to make it extra stealthy.

FM 6060 Predator (Black Nickel)
This is a wide gape, super-strong predator streamer hook. We designed this hook in an extensive size range so it can be used for anything from the largest pike or musky pattern to mid-size trout streamers. The wide gape design allows you to tie bulky fly patterns, but still leaving you plenty of space to effectively hook the fish when they eat it.
