In this video, Signature Tyer Rob Edmunds talks us through pulling tactics while reservoir fishing for trout on Draycote Water. On this day, he switched to fishing Boobies and Blobs after getting interest, but no commitment, when fishing snake flies. He talks us through the setup he uses for pulling flies, as well as the patterns he selects. Then we go over the thought process behind it, the retrieve, and some other general tips for stillwater fly fishing.
In this video, Fulling Mill Signature Rob Edmunds walks us through a morning session on Draycote water fishing snake flies for trout. This is an especially effective tactic for the front and back end of the fly fishing season on stillwaters, but can also produce throughout the year.
