About New Signature Tyer Grégoire Juglaret
We welcome Grégoire Juglaret as a new Signature Tyer and are excited to have some of his top dry flies and nymphs in our 2026 catalogs. Grégoire grew up fishing the technical and challenging rivers of France. He has been a member of Fly Fishing Team France since 2009 and is a 5-time team world champion. Grégoire placed twice for 3rd place individually, and twice for 2nd place individually. His flies are made to fit the most technical applications, but to be adaptable to fishing situations all over the world. The patterns below represent some of hisWhether you’re like to fish nymphs under an indicator, dry-dropper, or euro nymphing, consider adding some of Grégoire’s patterns to your box. Dry Flies
Juglaret’s Red Flash Mayfly Subimago

This mayfly pattern is a subimago-stage imitation, designed to target fish feeding at the very start of a hatch. The tag, which imitates the nymphal shuck, allows the abdomen to remain submerged while the wings are fully deployed and separated by fluorescent pink fibers, making the fly highly visible to the angler even in very poor light conditions. The red tinsel flash provides an attractor trigger point on an otherwise highly imitative fly, helping to provoke reluctant fish in clear water and under bright, sunny skies. Available in sizes 16, 18, and 20 to closely match the current hatch.
Juglaret’s Red Flash Imago

This mayfly pattern is an imago-stage imitation, designed to target fish feeding on adult insects while maintaining a very low riding profile on the water. The Pardo rooster tail fibers ensure a low yet surface-level and extremely stable floating posture. The natural CDC wings are highly visible, and their separation with fluorescent pink floss makes this fly easy to track, even in very low light conditions. The red tinsel flash adds an inciting point to this realistic pattern, helping to trigger hesitant fish in clear water and under bright, sunny conditions. Available in sizes 16, 18, and 20.
Nymphs from Signature Tyer Grégoire Juglaret

Juglaret’s Chocolate Baetis and Dark Olive Baetis

This mayfly nymph is particularly effective during hatches of small mayflies such as Blue Winged Olives (BWO). Its translucent body is highly effective on difficult, spooky fish in clear water. Designed for sight fishing in deeper water, whether in NZ Style or European Style Nymphing, it truly excels when fished straight upstream, especially as a dropper. The copper bead version is ideal for fishing acidic, tea-colored waters. The black dot on the bead dulls excessive shine—essential on heavily pressured waters—while still producing subtle flashes during animation. Offered in sizes 16, 18, and 20.
Juglaret’s Flashback Possum Tail

Available in two bead options, copper and silver, Juglaret’s Possum Tail is an attractor nymph with a flashy back. Designed for European Style Nymphing or NZ Style, this fly works best when the sun is bright and the riverbed is dark, or when the water is off-color. This imitation is extremely effective when fished dead drift. The black dot on the bead reduces unwanted shine—essential on pressured rivers—while still producing subtle flashes during animation. Available in sizes 14, 16, and 18.
Juglaret’s MF Chartreuse and MF Orange

This nymph, based on the legendary Pheasant Tail, is designed for NZ Style or European Style Nymphing. Its UV-reflective ribbing makes it particularly effective when the water is tinted or when the sky is overcast. The Chartreuse version is best used when the water is clear or cold and when riverbeds are very light or white. The black dot on the bead reduces excessive shine—essential on pressured waters—while still creating subtle flashes during animation. The Orange version is best used when water temperatures exceed 10°C. It truly excels in tea-colored water and over brown riverbeds. The black dot on the bead reduces unwanted shine—crucial on heavily fished waters—while still providing subtle flashes during animation. Available in four sizes: 14, 16, 18, and 20.
Juglaret’s French Gammarus

Unlike most gammarus imitations, these three size 14 shrimp are relatively heavy, allowing effective fishing in deep or fast water. Best used in NZ Style or for sight fishing, they truly shine when conditions allow for European Style Nymphing. Available in three colors to fit most scenarios: brown, orange, and yellow. Ideally, always choose the version whose color most closely matches the riverbed.
